Ethan has been a Blue Man in “Blue Man Group” since 2012, performing for thousands spanning six countries and over 30 states. The role has allowed him to deeply explore what it means to truly live in the moment, as it is an improv based roller coaster ride through the extreme peaks and valleys of human vulnerability, curiosity, heroism, and the need to form a connection (to name a few).
Acting played a major part of Ethan’s life even before he realized it. He grew up in a theatrical family in the small state of Rhode Island. His father is a theater professor at Brown University, and his mother and sister were both theater majors in their college years. Weekly family outings to the theater became the norm (even though he admittedly just wanted to play video games in the lobby).
Ethan has been drumming for 19 years and holds a music degree (instrument: percussion) from the University of Kansas. He loves improv and has had the opportunity to study at the Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings in Los Angeles, as well as The Second City Training Center in Chicago. Ethan continues to write and film comedic shorts for The Legendary Few.
